Oakville, Canada Green Design and Construction Full time

Green Design and Construction is looking to grow our crew. Our high-energy construction company is looking for reliable, motivated, detailed and hard working individuals to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Digging by hand and moving material with a wheel barrow
- Installing plants and sod
- Carpentry (decks and fences)
- Interlock and stone work
- Irritation and landscape lighting
- Operate equipment such as trucks, skid steers, tracked loaders, and tools.
- On the job learning
- Work effectively with other members of the team to complete the job in a timely manner

**Requirements**:

- Professionalism with customers
- Reliable and motivated
- Attention to detail, our company is based on our reputation
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Able to get to the job site or meet at the Milton yard
- A valid driver's license is a strong asset
- Ability to work Monday to Thursday (many additional hours available)

Compensation:

- We are in the process of implementing performance pay, allowing our employees to be compensated for how hard they work, not just how many hours they put in.
- Minimum effort = Minimum wage (We are not looking for minimum wage employees, we cut the dead weight and want a team of high producing people)
- On the job training (irrigation, heavy equipment, mechanical, ect)
- Opportunities for advancement within the company and year round employment on the construction side of the company

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 4 months
Part-time hours: 35-70 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$45.00 per hour
