Do you wish to work for a growing Quebec-based company in the cosmetics industry? We are currently looking for an efficient and motivated Forklift Operator to work at our center in Dorval for a permanent full-time position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Location: 9200 Chemin de la Côte-de-liesse, Dorval, QC.
- Schedule: Day shift (6:00 am to 2:50 pm) from Monday to Thursday and (6:00 am to 1:10 pm) on Friday.
- Salary offered: 22.35$/hr.
- Warehouse of components and finished products in the field of cosmetics.
- Raymond type stand-up forklifts, narrow aisles, lift height approximately 25 ft (5 levels of racking).
- Unionized team of 5 forklift operators.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE
- Prepare the required components for the cosmetics assembly and merchandising department.
- Follow the production schedule to ensure timely delivery.
- Verify the status of available components in the ERP system (JD Edwards), as well as the approval status.
- Pick up required pallets and boxes, with or without forklift.
- Deliver material for production and record quantities/batches delivered.
- Verify component returns VS work orders.
- Process inter-plant inventory requests.
- Place returns into inventory.
- Perform inventory transactions in the ERP system.
- Replenish merchandising inventory.
- Ensure inventory is maintained through cycle counts and other checks.
- Substitute for other positions in the distribution center (order picking, replenishment of finished goods inventory).
- Please note that the position consists of approximately 50% forklift operation and 50% of more clerical duties.

WE WOULD LIKE TO MEET YOU IF YOU HAVE
- High school diploma (DES) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role (industrial / manufacturing / distribution center environment).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite, ability to navigate computerized production / ERP systems (JD Edwards).
- Forklift driving: valid competency card issued by a certified organization.
