**About the role**

We’re looking for an IT Business Analyst II to join our growing team

As a business analyst, you play a vital role of translator and facilitator between Business, IT and Quality Assurance. You will be part of a small squad with the sole purpose of creating and enhancing the functionalities of our in-house policy system to the point where that product is the best product, not just in the insurance field, but the best product out there, period.

**What you'll do here**:

- Analyze business needs to define IT solutions.
- Lead / prepare / participate in business requirements workshops to specify IT solutions.
- Make impact analysis and effort estimates to advocate, get approval, then document the IT solution using effective methods and interacting with both business users and the IT project team.
- Support the development of solutions and monitor the velocity of the team.
- Support test Quality Assurance activities and User Acceptance Tests.
- Support Product Owners in handling their backlogs and prioritize work to be done.
- Document User Stories effectively so they can be clearly understood by Front End, Back End developers and Quality Assurance.
- Identify and convey the impacts on Business processes to support change management in Business units via train the trainer documents and procedures
- Build a solid, reusable and thorough system documentation to be used by any stakeholders.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or any combination of equivalent education and experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Project experiences in Scrum mode
- Experience and knowledge in the insurance field
- Mastery of JIRA, Confluence & DNG
