Reporting to the Director of Communications & Engagement and working closely with the Partnership & Programming Lead, the_ (full-time, regular position_) **Partnership & Programming Coordinator **will provide overall program coordination and development of Ag in Motion, Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, and future events, conferences, and demonstration research-related initiatives for Discovery Farm in order to achieve record earnings, while earning customer love and trust. This position is in a growing division, with an expectation of executing new programs and working within new processes and frameworks.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Contribute to annual program development that meets the strategic and financial objectives for Discovery Farm, including Discovery Farm Langham, Discovery Farm Woodstock, Ag in Motion, Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show, demonstration research, other events, and other lines of business within the Discovery Farm portfolio.
- Oversee programming execution, especially during Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show and Ag in Motion.
- Coordinate (project manage) strategic partnership portfolio, including tracking progress, drafting MOUs and initiative agreements, providing briefings to team members, and scheduling.
- Contribute to development of new programs and program enhancements, with a deep consideration to partnership delivery.
- Work within a relationship management framework for university, publicly funded and other large organization clients that includes regular reporting and client stewardship.
- Remain abreast of programming needs for Canadian farmers and seek solutions to deliver programming through various channels throughout the entire year
- Work in close collaboration with the sales, operations, marketing, content teams and leadership to deliver first-in class and innovative programming and customer experience/client stewardship programs that meet strategic and financial goals
- Provide support to Partnership & Programming Lead and internal and external research partners for grants to access available government funding
- Develop, collaborate with, and maintain a wide network of contacts in the regional community and agriculture industry including producer organizations, business, research, education, extension, and government.

**Qulifications**
- A relevant degree or equivalent experience in event / extension management, business, and/or agriculture
- 2 to 5 years of event/extension experience, with experience in developing agriculture programming that include a research/farming component.
