ScanDesigns was founded in 1976 and is a locally owned family-run company. We have 6 stores and a main distribution centre in Coquitlam. We are looking for an organized individual to assist our Purchaser at our distribution centre in Coquitlam with logistics and customer service tasks.

The is a permanent full-time position and the hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday)

**What the position will look like**:

- Maintain a database of purchase orders, import and export documents;
- Review quotes, monitor price increases, and communicate changes to management as necessary;
- Set up delivery schedules, monitor shipment progress to meet order requirements and maintain good rapport with suppliers;
- Communicate with manufacturers or suppliers overseas to resolve shipment issues or errors in quality
- Input invoices to accounting software and process vendor payments
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of import and export procedures as well as documentation required
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required
- Acute attention to detail; ability to multitask and problem-solving
- Communicate with customers and individual stores as necessary on a customer service level

**Salary**: $15.65-$25.00 per hour
