The Role*
The Technical Product Manager, SaaS Platform, will own the vision, roadmap and go-to-market strategy for our technology platform for SaaS and is expected to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Owning the product roadmap for the SaaS platform and enabling technologies
- Gather and validate insights and requirements from clients, industry sources and other channels to maximize the value that our products deliver to the market
- Preparing business requirements documents based on your analysis for SaaS enabled products and capabilities to demonstrate the business value of the proposed work
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for our SaaS-based products in collaboration with leadership and marketing, including consulting on pricing strategy
- Define service level objectives for the SaaS platform and collaborate with the engineering and architecture teams to ensure that the platform meets our SLA requirements
- Representing the voice of the customer internally to ensure that solutions deliver value to the customer
- Collaborating with product development teams in writing and prioritizing epics and stories
- Coordinating dependencies and activities with other Product Owners and Product Managers in a team-of-teams environment
- Sharing market information, technology trends and business insights with the product teams to give context to the requirements to help ensure that the correct problems are solved
- Continuously developing relevant technical domain expertise and sharing that expertise with the product team
- Participate in product increment planning, tracking progress towards increment and release objectives and communicating to the organization
- Participate in agile ceremonies with the product team to provide insight into the business value of the requirements
- Provide continuous feedback to clients and stakeholders and demonstrate the value of the solutions in progress
- Participate in product launch planning and execution in collaboration with Product Marketing
- Assisting Product Marketing with the preparation of suitable collateral to enable sales and marketing teams
**Your Formal Qualifications**
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager with technical and client-facing experience
- Experience in driving the strategy and delivery of SaaS-based products, having delivered world-class SaaS products to market
- Mastery of agile product management principles and practice in an agile (Scrum) environment
- Technical depth to effectively lead conversations with engineers and solution architects
- Understanding of SaaS and Cloud software architecture and operational requirements for enterprise software products
- Understanding of API-first approach to building products and self-contained, microservice-based deployments
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and ecosystem trends
- Knowledge of enterprise software security standards and protocols
- Working knowledge of the Atlassian suite (Jira & Confluence) or similar tools

- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate in verbal and written form to both internal and customer stakeholders
- Organizational skills, being very consistent and structured in managing information, documentation, agile boards and other artifacts produced
- Self-starter, able to thrive in a distributed environment with an entrepreneurial mindset to take ownership of the products and lead it to success
- Structured problem-solving and analytical skills, able to simplify complexity
