**Outside Technical Sales (travel throughout S.W. Ontario required)**

**Chess Electric**, a manufacturers representative for GE Multilin, GE Grid Solutions, Gentec, and other Power System related products is currently seeking a technically sound technical sales representative to join our team.

This position requires a detail-orientated, self motivated sales leader with a strong electrical background, solid understanding of protection and Control, Power Transformers, Switchgear and Power Quality. This individual is passionate about building meaningful business relationship, thrives on independent work, has the ability to contribute and elevate results as part of a team. You enjoy a positive work - life balance, you are motivated by new exciting challenges, you take pride in providing all clients with an excellent customer experience.(S.W. Ontario - Halton Hills to Windsor ).

**Qualifications**:

- Reside within the territory (S.W. Ontario)
- Strong understanding - knowledge of HV and MV power system equipment including protection and control requirements. (College - University education)
- Excellent communicator and presenter.
- Sales Leader with solid understanding of the sales process and contract negotiations.
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with our clients and suppliers
- Strong Computer Skills including use of CRM system.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management.
- Self motivated - Result driven with ability to build and work a plan to achieve goals.
- Valid Drivers License and willingness to travel throughout assigned territory (Halton Hills to Windsor)

**Responsibilities**:

- Build, prioritize and maintain relationships with key clients within the assigned territory (Consultants, Utilities, End User, OEM, EPCM)
- Prepare and execute a business development plan
- Actively develop and pursue opportunities for the products (GE Multilin, GE Grid Solutions, Gentec, Kocos) and services from the manufacturers we represent for the province of Ontario
- Build and maintain networks presence in the industry through participations in events and associations
- Prepare, coordinate and present proposals / solutions
- Use and maintain CRM system to support customer and supplier relationships, new business development
- Acquire new clients by identifying, qualifying and delivering projects through proposal and contract stages
- Participate in monthly sales meetings and training
