**Summary of responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Manager, Regulatory Affairs and Operations Policy, the Procedural Analyst is responsible for developing new procedures with internal clients, process analysis, writing, editing, and providing translation quality assurance for several key operational documents targeted to Screening Officers and operational personnel across Canada. The Procedural Analyst performs all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.

***What you need to succeed**

***To qualify for the position, you must have**:

- Graduation from a recognized college or university with specialization in Translation, Linguistics, Journalism, Communications, Public Policy or another specialty relevant to the duties of the position;
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in writing, editing and comparative editing (English/French) of a wide variety of materials (e.g. procedures, policies, briefing notes) and for different audiences;
- Experience developing and updating various processes and procedures.
- Experience working in an environment that focuses on high standards of quality and tight deadlines;
- Experience using a variety of writing and editing tools and software (Adobe Acrobat).

**Valuable skills include**:

- Knowledge of CATSA's mandate and priorities, as well as an awareness of relevant legislation affecting CATSA;
- Experience in writing and editing technical documents;
- Formal translation experience;
- Experience related to aviation security;
- Experience using Information Mapping methodologies;
- Experience using InDesign software.

**Specific work requirements**
- Ability to work overtime as required;
- Ability to travel as required;
- Language Profile: Bilingual CBCC;
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance;
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
