**Full-Time Volunteer Coordinator**
- Provides new volunteer welcome packages;
- Provides program specific training to new volunteer recruits and supports volunteer awareness;
- Monitors unassigned volunteers through monthly reporting and follows up with those who have not begun volunteering;
- Engages and supports volunteers in their role and provides feedback on processes;
- Assists the Volunteer Resource Lead and peers with Volunteer Recognition events (i.e., Holiday events, Annual Appreciation Events, Open Houses, etc.);
- Updates volunteer termination tracking sheet monthly, and sends the volunteer departure survey and letter;
- Schedules volunteers in various CCD programs (i.e., Footcare, Meals on Wheels, etc.,)
- Coordinates entire Luncheon Out program (i.e., arranges transportation of clients, coordinates with vendor, monitors client attendance list, assigns volunteers, etc.,)
- Coordinates entire VSS program and monitors service delivery (i.e., manages client waitlist, matches volunteers to clients, reviews and monitors statistics, reviews client notes and case file to determine eligibility, etc.,)
- Prints Meals on Wheels Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) reports and reviews entries;
- Prints Meals on Wheels kilometer hour reports and reviews for accuracy;
- Supports the Hub with service delivery and participates in cross-training to assist with packing of hot meals, assisting at the Footcare clinic, etc.

**Qualifications required**:

- Post-secondary diploma/certificate in Volunteer Management, Gerontology, or related field as asset
- 1 year of experience is an asset
- Related experience in related field is an asset
- Certification in Volunteer Management (CVA or CVRM) is an asset
- Sensitivity to the needs of the frail elderly and persons with disabilities, including challenges in cognition
- Must work in a safe manner and promote the health and safety of all staff, volunteers, clients and the community as outlined within CCD policies
- Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Sensitivity to adults with needs related to aging, physical and/or mental health

**Compensation**:Starting at $36,400 annually; three (3) weeks’ vacation per year of work (pro-rated to hours worked); 9 paid (including stat) holidays, 3 float days; health, insurance, and pension benefits when eligible.
- Pay will be commensurate based on education and experience
