**JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
- The Die Set Up Technician as a member of management, shall be responsible for and perform the set up of dies, tools, jigs and equipment for the production of quality production of quality production parts.
- The Die Set Up Technician shall co-ordinate the set up of the dies, tools, jigs and equipment with the assistance of the production employees.
- The Die Set Up Technician shall have the authority to discipline any employee who fails to comply or assist on set-ups, or who breaks a company rule or policy, or violates Health & Safety rules and regulations.
- The Die Set up Technician shall instruct, train and supervise the production employees who are assisting on the set-up.
- The die set up Technician shall trouble shoot production problems.
- The Die Set up Technician shall be responsible for advance staging of set-up.
- The Set up Technician shall also assist the Area Managers, as necessary, in the supervising, directing and training of production employees.

**SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS**
- Automotive manufacturing experience will be an asset.
- Must be able to work in a multi-skilled environment with maintenance aptitude to learn skills other than area of expertise.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are required, as well as a strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Compile and report any observations in a formal manner.
- Currently hiring for steady DAY SHIFT but possible rotation with Afternoons and/or Midnights as requirements increase
