**Rotation**: 5-5-4 schedule, or as required

**Shift Length**:10 hours

**Scope of work**:
Relevant experience required; welding experience and CWB certification preferred.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Team Player, Safety, Good Housekeeping, Concrete Work, Forms, Vent Doors, Walls, Welding, Shotcrete, Installation of Timbers, Ground Support, Pumps & Systems, and more as required.
- Operation of underground mining equipment such as, but not limited to, forklift, scissor lift, man carrier.
- Accountable to meet safety, production and budget targets
- Report for work fit and ready to engage in the day’s activities.
- Inspect workings, headings, and equipment for compliance to codes, regulations and standards.
- Receive and communicate information from/to the Supervisor.
- Deal with any unsafe condition immediately. Rectify or isolate and report.
- Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Ontario Hard Rock Underground Common Core - Full Basic (or other provincial equivalent) (required)**:

- **3 years or more experience in Underground Operations**:

- **CWB Certification (preferred)**:

- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Ability to work effectively as a team as well as independently
- Good communication skills
- Having the authority and responsibility to maintain a safe working environment

**Health and Safety**:

- Follow Company and Client health and safety standards and report all unsafe acts or conditions to Supervisor
- Responsible to ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment
