**The Purpose**
The Talent Acquisition Manager at Escape Fire Protection Ltd. will play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and bringing onboard top-tier talent that resonates with our company's culture and expertise. In this role, you will collaborate closely with department leaders to comprehend their staffing requirements and craft effective recruitment strategies that ensure a skilled, diverse, and motivated team.

**Areas of Accountability**:

- Partner with department heads to deeply understand hiring needs, skill criteria, and team dynamics.
- Develop engaging and accurate job descriptions and advertisements that reflect role responsibilities, qualifications, and growth opportunities.
- Manage background checks and reference verifications as integral components of the pre-employment screening procedure.
- Collaborate with the HR team to optimize and streamline the onboarding process for new hires.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and legal stipulations pertinent to talent acquisition.
- Analyze recruitment metrics and furnish regular reports to leadership, spotlighting key performance indicators and areas for enhancement.

- Internal - Office Manager, General Manager, other field & office staff
- External - Potential hires, recruitment agencies etc

**The Person**
**Skills and Knowledge**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Demonstrated experience (5 years) in talent acquisition or recruitment preferably within a dynamic and growing organization.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships and influencing decision-making.
- Remarkable organizational acumen, meticulous attention to detail, and adeptness at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software tools.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations specific to British Columbia.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, enabling the identification of top talent and resolution of recruitment challenges.
- Proven ability to operate independently, make informed judgments, and prioritize efficiently.
