The PreArrivalCanada.ca Pre-Arrival Client Registration and Referral Portal (CRRP) is a centralized system that enables overseas immigrants to register for multiple IRCC-funded pre-arrival programs using a single form. The CRRP Information and Referral Specialist supports overseas immigrants by guiding them through various IRCC-funded pre-arrival programs, assisting them with registration, validating their eligibilities in accessing the programs they register for, making timely referrals, and supporting senior staff with statistical reports.
**In this role, you will**:
- Review registration requests and determine their eligibility for accessing IRCC-funded pre-arrival services,
- Conduct online Needs Assessment and Referral before arrival, and provide eligible clients with an orientation to all Pre-Arrival services available.
- Assist clients who have difficulties using the portal’s online registration tools with guidance.
- Assist in developing, facilitating, and maintaining online content, including the online Knowledge Management System.
- Perform data entry input and retrieval, ensuring the data is complete and accurate.
- Provide support in maintaining and submitting program statistical and progress reports.
- Conduct local and global outreach and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with partner organizations.
- Work closely with and provide support to the Senior Team to achieve quality, fiscal, and program targets.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Remain alert to immigration and newcomer trends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**You bring**:
- University Degree or Community College Diploma in related field or equivalent training/work experience.
- Minimum 1-year experience working with newcomers, providing settlement information and referrals.
- Demonstrated knowledge of settlement and immigration barriers, trends, resources and services.
- Some understanding of best practices for online usability, accessibility and safety.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic about leveraging technology to connect with and engage people.
- Well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with participants, community partners, staff and volunteers
- Ability to communicate in a second language is an asset.
- Flexibility regarding work location and hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent understanding of diversity, inclusion, and equity, including the ability to identify and address barriers in Employment and Community Programs, work effectively with diverse stakeholders, and integrate equity into program design
