Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Independent Contractor

Location: Brantford, ON

**Responsibilities**:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Say Well Speech therapy your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in patients of all ages.

2. Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs and goals.

3. Providing speech therapy interventions to improve communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, and fluency.

6. Educating patients, families, and caregivers about communication strategies and home programming.

7. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

8. Staying current with the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through continuing education and professional development.

9. Previous experience in using Digital charting and scheduling. (e.g. Jane Software).

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

2. Current active registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).

3. Experience working with diverse populations and a wide range of communication disorders.

4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

5. Excellent communication and documentation skills.

6. Dedication to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.

9. Knowledge of the latest assessment and therapy techniques in speech-language pathology.
