**Plant Specialist (Horticultural Quality Control)**

Dig Marketing is looking for a professional with horticultural knowledge to join our team. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to help us with all our deliverables about plants and plant-associated topics—gardening, growing, decor, etc., and ensure all of them adhere to industry knowledge and reflect it graphically and in writing.
**Requirements**:
Have and maintain a deep knowledge of gardening industry trends to provide relevant advice and support to the creation of assets for garden center clients
Experience in the marketing industry is considered an asset.
**Tasks & Responsibilities**:
Inspect and ensure that products and services meet defined quality standards.
Conduct detailed quality assessments and provide actionable feedback on:
- Functionality
- Spelling (Canadian vs. American)
- Location and Zone
- Brand consistency
- Plant information accuracy
Identify and document any issues or defects in deliverables per contractor to monitor performance.
Report performance and quality recommendations
Ensure all projects comply with green industry standards and client specifications (zone, location, name).
Ensure consistency in messaging across all platforms and materials.
Manage and maintain records to implement quality control and performance recommendations.
Ensuring that not only the client’s objectives are met but industry standards are met as well.

**Job Types**: Freelance, Part-time
**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
