Hydrovac Operator

We are a liquid waste hauling company that is looking to expand our fleet of hydrovac units. Most of the customers we work for are municipalities and townships, so our hydrovac work is a little different then most. We clean a lot of tanks/holding chambers for different treatment facilities and townships, as well as annual cleaning of their pump stations and catch basins. A lot of the bigger jobs are done with a crew of confined space entrants, so drivers must work well with others and be willing to take control of a job site when needed.

We also work with some excavation and contractors doing your more typical "hydrovac" work. We've done everything from dig fence post holes and trench's for new hydro/water/utility lines to working with construction teams to install light posts up the shoulder of Highway 400. We've gathered a wide network of customers that use our hydrovacs for various jobs.

We work with a few facilities in the GTA/surrounding areas doing annual cleanings and some chemical tank clean outs. These jobs are typically set up by a contractor and the facilities provide their own team of labourers to clean tanks.

Most of our work is performed during business hours Monday to Friday, but some weekend or emergency work is required.

COVID-19 considerations:
Drivers are typically alone in their vehicle. When at jobsites, masks and PPE is required. Paperwork is put in drop bins not passed person to person. Surfaces sanitized daily in the office. Social distance when in customer sites/buildings.

**Experience**:

- Hydrovac operating: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- AZ or DZ License? (required)
