Supply Early Childhood Educator/staff

A Casual Supply Staff is required to:
1. Interact and communicate with the children in an appropriate manner.

2. Provide supervision and guidance in various daily activities i.e. field trips, programming.

3. Encourage healthy social interaction among the children by being an appropriate model.

4. Emphasize each child’s positive behaviour rather than concentrating on problems.

5. Deal with child guidance with caring and patience in consultation with the Early Childhood Educator in the room.

6. Be aware of the general health of each child during the scheduled shift and report any changes to the Early Childhood Educator in the room.

7. Be aware and effectively respond to each child’s special needs and restrictions in consultation with the Early Childhood Educator in the room.

8. Actively participate as part of an educational team.

9. Be familiar with policies, procedures and the curriculum.

10. Be prepared to be able to cope effectively with emergency situations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

**Salary**: $17.67-$18.67 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
