**Program Manager**

**Utility Solutions Corporation (USC) **is currently seeking a Program Manager with strong organizational, verbal communication, customer service and conflict resolution skills to work in our Toronto office. Working on the coordination of overhead and underground distribution design projects (e.g., hydro pole lines, wires, transformers, switches, UG cable, etc.), this individual will be responsible for managing schedules, project statuses, updates, and client/internal meetings pertaining to the portfolio of projects. Familiarity with electric and civil utility design and construction standards and practices is an asset for this position. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge of electrical utility industry and project management processes, while working in a great team environment at a fast-growing company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates design resources to meet client/project demands;
- Manages a portfolio (approximately 100-150 projects) of work in terms of schedule, quality, budget, risks, and issues;
- Works closely with individual project managers to ensure projects are on-track and meet quality standards;
- Prepares program-level status reports for internal and client review;
- Participates and leads update meetings (internally and with clients) related to USC projects;
- Communicates project statuses with clients, and confirming project prioritization and/or next steps.
- Coordinates dates and times for our design staff to perform site visits, and meet clients/stakeholders on jobsites;
- Coordinates change requests for contracts where scope has been expanded and/or budget has been exhausted;
- Coordinates analysis and responses related to inquiries from clients as well as internal stakeholders;
- Interfaces with client systems (e.g., ProjectWise, Invoicing, On-Line Portals) to ensure all required project files are submitted to the client;
- Organizes lists of client and internal requests, including timelines to completion, and following up with relevant stakeholders when required;
- Reviews project documentation to ensure it is completed completely and accurately from an administrative standpoint;
- Performs and assist with additional duties and tasks as assigned from time to time.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant experience in managing a program/portfolio of work (in terms of schedule, quality, budget, risks, and issues)
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in Electrical Technology is an asset (focused on Power Distribution Systems is preferred). A PMP Certification is also an asset. We will consider a combination of education and experience in performing similar work equivalent to our requirements;1 to 3 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the energy sector and including low and medium voltage systems is an asset for this role;
- Knowledge of principles and practices in the electrical construction industry, especially with electric utility (poles, lines, transformers, etc.) replacement projects is an asset for this role;
- Excellent organizational skills

- Valid Ontario driver’s license;
- Flexibility to respond to short notice assignments and respond to project based Client demands.

**Job Types: Full-time, Permanent**

**Pay Rate: Hourly Wage in accordance with a $60,000 - $80,000 annual base pay for full time work**
