Maintenance III - Journeyman Plumber/Gas
Fitter
**Location**: Hinton
Start
**Date**: Immediately
**Hours**: 40 hours per week
**Wage Rate**: $35.59 - 39.15, in accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement.
The
competition will remain open until November 12, 2024 at 12:00pm MST
**SUMMARY**:
services to the Facilities Department, under the direction and supervision of
the Director of Facilities.
**DUTIES**:
**Duties of this position are to include but are not limited to**:
Performance of all duties related to
the scope of the trade.
Assess school buildings, equipment
and/or vehicles for required maintenance.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Valid journeyman’s certificate with gas fittings
Valid Class 5 Driver’s license or
higher if required.
Other valid certificates as required
by Facilities (First Aid, WHMIS, Fire Extinguishers).
Technology and computer skills
programs).
Must be self-motivated, self-directed
with the ability to organize and prioritize work.
Must be able to work with mínimal
supervision and as a team player.
Ability to maintain a high level of
confidentiality.
Physical ability to perform required
duties.
HVAC Certification would be an assets but not required.
Must have an understanding of RTU's and Boiler Systems.
