**Job Title: MSSQL SRE**

As a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator, you will manage and maintain our SQL Server databases, ensuring their performance, security, and availability. Your strong performance tuning and replication knowledge will be essential in optimizing our database systems and supporting our growing business needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases in a production environment.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, utilizing best practices for tuning and troubleshooting.
- Implement and manage database replication strategies to ensure data integrity and availability across environments.
- Perform regular database backups and restore operations, ensuring data recovery and business continuity.
- Develop and implement security measures to safeguard databases against unauthorized access.
- Create and maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and standards.
- Provide support for database-related issues, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Stay updated with the latest SQL Server features and best practices, recommending improvements as necessary.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with SQL Server Always on Availability Groups.
- Knowledge of cloud-based SQL Server solutions (e.g., Azure SQL Database). Certification in Microsoft SQL Server (e.g., MCDBA, MCSA) is a plus.
