Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Sage 50 Premium accounting Package.
- Process accounts payable and receivables, including processing invoices and issuing payments in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the regular collection of receivables.
- Prepare and process biweekly payroll including calculating timesheets and dispersing employee direct deposit payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Prepare financial reports for management.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, clients and colleagues regarding financial transactions.
- Monitor and track expenses to identify cost saving opportunities
- Assist with yearend tax preparations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years experience in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficient in the use of the accounting software - Sage 50 Premium.*
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
