Vale Packaging, a leading manufacturer of packaging solutions for the food industry, is seeking a dedicated Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our company operates in full compliance with regulatory standards and certifications. **Responsibilities**:
Ensure the company has the necessary licenses, permits, and certifications to operate in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Maintain accurate records related to employee training, certifications, licenses, and regulatory permits for equipment and facilities.

Coordinate and oversee BRCG (British Retail Consortium Global Standards) certification processes and audits to ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards.

Manage regulatory permits, inspections, and reporting requirements, including Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings, fire inspections, and environmental regulations.

Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and training programs to educate employees and foster a culture of regulatory compliance.

Investigate any reported violations or concerns and take appropriate corrective actions

Prepare reports for management on compliance activities, findings, and recommendations

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Quality Certification or Administration Background.

Proven experience in regulatory compliance, certification management, and permit coordination in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food packaging industry.

Knowledge of BRCG standards, health and safety regulations, environmental laws, and fire safety codes is considered a strong asset.

Strong understanding of training record management, audit processes, and regulatory reporting.

Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent skills with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Power Point)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
