**About Our Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Manager of Fleet Services, the Apprentice/Summer Student will aid staff in the maintenance and repair of the department's fleet of various vehicles and equipment. They will keep workstations clean, tidy and safe and report any issues or concerns to Fleet Coordinator or Manager.

This is an ideal position to gain experience in a variety of vehicles and equipment that would not normally be found at any one repair facility. Examples of some of the equipment maintained and repaired at this facility include (but are not limited to):

- ATV's
- UTV"s
- Snowmobiles
- Utility Trailers
- Fire Trucks
- Cars
- SUV's
- Vans
- Pick-up Trucks
- Heavy Trucks
- Farm tractors and many attachments, and
- Ride-on mowers

**Qualifications and Experience**:
Must be currently enrolled in post secondary education related to the position, Automotive Service Technician, Powersports, small gas, Heavy Equipment Repair or Truck and Transport Mechanic and must be returning to studies in the fall or next applicable semester.

Must have valid Class 5 drivers license and be able to provide driver's abstract.

Must be bondable and have no previous criminal record.

Relevant training to the position would be considered an asset.
