Nous aidons présentement un des plus prestigieux « Family Office » à Montréal à trouver un.e. Accounting and Finance Manager pour joindre leur équipe comptable. Les bureaux sont situés au centre-ville de Montréal.

Aperçu des principales responsabilités

Relevant du Vice-président aux finances, la personne retenue assumera un large éventail de tâches, notamment:
Comptabilité et rapports financiers:

- S’occuper des rapports financiers mensuels/trimestriels/annuels pour un certain nombre d’entités ainsi qu’un large éventail d’autres tâches liées à la finance;
- Tenir les registres comptables pour un certain nombre d’entités;
- Préparer des états financiers précis et opportuns, en veillant au respect des principes comptables et des exigences réglementaires pertinentes.

Budgétisation et prévisions:

- Gérer les budgets annuels et les prévisions financières;
- Contrôler les performances financières réelles par rapport aux chiffres budgétés et fournir des analyses et des recommandations.

Conformité fiscale:

- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec des professionnels de la fiscalité afin de garantir le respect des réglementations fiscales et des échéances;
- Coordonner la préparation des déclarations fiscales.
- Collaborer avec les consultants en fiscalité pour l’élaboration et la mise en œuvre de stratégies fiscalement avantageuses, en veillant au respect de la législation fiscale applicable;
- Se tenir informé des modifications apportées aux réglementations fiscales et émettre des recommandations.

Contrôles financiers et conformité:

- Établir et maintenir des contrôles financiers internes pour protéger les actifs et garantir l’exactitude des rapports financiers;
- Se tenir au courant des modifications apportées aux normes et réglementations comptables afin de garantir une conformité à tout moment;
- Contribuer à l’amélioration des processus comptables et opérationnels.

Collaboration avec d’autres professionnels:

- Collaborer avec les « Investments Managers », avocats et autres conseillers afin de garantir une approche globale de la gestion financière;
- Communiquer efficacement avec les auditeurs externes et les autorités fiscales lors des audits et des contrôles.

Intégration des technologies financières:

- Se tenir au courant des outils et des solutions technologiques qui peuvent améliorer l’efficacité et la précision des processus comptables;
- Implanter et mettre à jour des logiciels et des systèmes comptables afin de rationaliser les opérations financières.

Formation continue et développement professionnel:

- Rester informé des tendances du secteur, des marchés financiers et des changements de réglementation grâce à la formation continue et au développement professionnel.

Qualifications et compétences recherchées
- Titre comptable CPA;
- Minimum 5 ans d’expérience pertinente;
- Expérience avec les compagnies de placements et/ou les « holdings » (atout);
- Expérience et/ou intérêt pour la fiscalité (atout);
- Bonnes habiletés avec la technologie (atout);
- Bonnes habiletés d’analyses;
- Quelques qualités recherchées : professionnalisme, sens développé de l’intégrité et de l’éthique, autonomie, stabilité, initiative, « ownership »/ « accountability », rigueur et discrétion;
- Bilinguisme (essentiel, l’environnement est davantage anglophone).
