**Job description**
TITLE - ASSISTANT FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER / Events coordinator
STATUS - HYBRID work environment/ Work from home / FULL & PART TIME
REPORTS TO - Director of Food & Beverage
DESCRIPTION:
Duties include:
- Book, coordinate, service, build floorplans and contracts, as well as schedule meetings for currently booked and potential events.
- Promptly and professionally respond to event inquiries and questions.
- Work with the Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef to ensure the highest guest service and food quality standards.
- Responsible for overseeing all Food & Beverage activities within Restaurant NINE18 & Turnberry Golf Course when the Director of Food and Beverage is not on site, while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service.
- Organize and conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information to the staff as well as schedule and direct staff in their work assignments.
- Ensure excellent customer service by means of attention to detail.
- Interact positively with guests and resolve any problems to the satisfaction of all involved parties.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of food and beverage etiquette.
- Ability to train staff, run service and be creative.
- Supervise and review production and quality of all food and beverage products to ensure consistent, superior food & beverage quality.
- Attendance and participation in weekly management and departmental meetings.
- Assist with social media marketing.
- Communicate goals and objectives and inspire employees to obtain these goals.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- University Degree or College Diploma preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in supervisory role.
- Experience at properties of similar size and quality.
- Thorough knowledge of Food and Beverage control systems, Front of house systems, as well as the ability to work well under pressure & stress with a positive attitude.
- Availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays a must.

- Meticulous with details/deadlines and effortlessly exceed guest expectations.
- The hospitality gene is a _must_.
- Excellent time management.
- Extremely strong leadership skills and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop creative/innovative menus and events.
- Knowledge of **JONAS** software ideal.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
