Sewing Machinist

The Pillow Shoppe is looking for a part-time sewing machinist to sew pillow covers and bench cushion covers using high-quality upholstery-grade fabrics in the studio within our Toronto store. Products will be made for stock and also custom orders.

We are looking for 4 days per week Tuesday-Friday 11 AM - 6 PM.

30 minute paid lunch break.

Expectations for this role:

- Working at least 4 days per week on-site (7 hour days)
- High attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take direction from the manufacturing manager
- Time management skills to complete tasks that are time-sensitive

Qualifications for this role:

- 5+ years experience with a sewing and serging machine
- Be able to sew in a hidden zipper for pillows and cushions

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 per week
