**Position Overview**:
The Reservations Specialist is pivotal in managing relationships with innkeepers and ensuring smooth reservation processes for our clients. This role focuses on the operational and customer service aspects, specifically in managing accommodations and ensuring detailed communication with clients post-sale. The Reservations Specialist will work closely with our team to maintain excellent relationships with service providers and handle all aspects of reservation processing.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage and cultivate relationships with innkeepers in specific destinations to ensure Freewheeling Adventures' clients have access to preferred accommodations.
- Negotiate and manage room blocks, handle quick bookings, and process any necessary changes (additions/removals) efficiently.
- Process payments, manage invoices, and ensure all reservation details are accurately recorded and communicated.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to ensure a seamless transition from sale to the fulfillment of the travel experience.
**Requirements**:
- Exceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on building and maintaining positive relationships with service providers and clients.
- High level of detail orientation and organizational skills.
- A friendly and professional demeanor, capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
- Interest in and knowledge of the travel and tourism industry, especially in active travel.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
**Performance Expectations**:
- Success in this role will be measured by the efficiency of the reservation process, satisfaction levels of innkeepers and clients, and the accuracy of communication and documentation.

- Flexible working hours (20-40 hours/week), with the position being primarily in-office.
