Lethbridge, Canada Alberta Precision Laboratories Full time

**Your Opportunity**:
This position supports the APL Education Team in regional and rural South and Central Zones, and as such your work location is negotiable within these zones. The region features flat wheat fields and ranchlands but also has the Rocky Mountains in the furthest western portion and badland and hoodoo formations and a paleontology hotbed. It is also an area rich with aboriginal history. The region is known mostly for agricultural production, but other sectors, such as alternative energy, film production and tourism, are emerging. You are a detail-oriented problem solver who can easily roll with changes - you might even say you thrive on them. Alberta Precision Laboratories (APL) needs someone like you for the role of Clinical Instructor as we work to evolve our organization's Education Team into a high functioning provincial model. Reporting to the Provincial Education Lead and in collaboration with the Quality, Safety, and Education Manager, the Clinical Instructor works with rural and regional sites in Central and South Zones and collaborates with colleagues, post-secondary institutions, and other stakeholders across the province. In addition to your strong attention to detail and good judgement, you have strong organizational and communication skills that enable you to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders. Tasks associated with this role include (but are not limited to) support and coordination of student placements in Central and South Zone sites, organizing and delivering staff education, liaising between students, preceptors, and supervisors/manager, management of student schedules, and fostering and managing relationships to support the evolution to a provincial model.
