**YOUR ROLE**

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, the coordinator is responsible for maintaining or improving the appearance of corporate stores (Canada & USA) for the different banners of the ALDO Group by managing various requests, minor renovation projects and large deployment projects. He is also in charge of replacing damaged items, recovering, and redistributing assets from store closures, and supplying the components, furniture and displays that stores need in order to present our products according to our design standards. At office level, the coordinator is responsible for various projects, move & modification requests within the offices & DC.

**Operational**: 80%
- Answer several types of various requests concerning visual merchandising and operations for corporate stores.
- Coordinate store closures and the recovery and redistribution of furniture, displays and other visual merchandising items.
- Fix/replace damaged furniture in-store and follow-up on deliveries, as well as customs paperwork for items sent internationally (if needed).
- Elaborate or review preliminary plans for renovations and minor reorganizations in stores of all banners, according to pre-established design standards; work with the design team to get the necessary approbations.
- Prepare and respect the calendars and budgets for all projects; communicate any updates to customers (ex.: sales & ops, visual merchandising, marketing, etc.).
- Ensure excellent communication both internally and on the field in order to properly coordinate the activities of different stakeholders and make sure projects are delivered on time.
- If necessary, act as a coordinator for external professional consultants, such as architects and engineers (for permits, quotes, approbations, etc.).
- Manage various requests at the Montreal head office (ex: moves, furniture relocation, modifications to rooms/offices, etc.).
- Conduct research to find solutions to all issues.
- Be available outside of normal office hours (from time to time) to follow up on construction projects.

- Create/maintain good channels of communication and coordination with internal/external partners

- Complete auto-performance assessment and mid-year review for 100% of the associates, develop talent and address marginal performance.
- Attend and/or Participate in yearly Rallyes, Department Town Halls, 1-1 & other departmental meetings
- Promote/support/drive volunteering activities

**DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?**
- CEGEP or University degree in Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design Environmental Design, or related fields, an asset
- Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Other: AutoCAD & Autodesk Design Review, Service Channel (CMMS), PowerSteering
- English both written & verbal skills considering constant communications with our international clients
- Experience in a retail Store Planning function
- Experience in a retail construction and facilities and maintenance function
- Experience in renovation, Retrofits and Office Projects
- Pro-active and solution oriented with the capacity to think analytically, instinctively and “outside-the-box”
- Is entrepreneurial and has a dynamic mindset with the ability to encourage and drive change management
