**A growing family in Kerrisdale is seeking an experienced nanny who has newborn/infant experience to join their family for the long term. They are expecting their daughter in July Salary is negotiable with potential extended health benefits**

These soon-to-be parents are seeking an experienced nanny who has substantial experience working with infants. Their focus is to find someone who is patient, kind, and passionate about engaging with their daughter through various activities. They prioritize a screen-free environment and encourage independent learning. They also prefer a very active nanny who enjoys spending time outdoors and engaging their daughter in play-based activities.

The main role is to take care of their newborn. This includes: feeding, bathing, spending time with her and helping creating a sleep schedule.

Other duties include:
Light meal prep - cutting up veggies, prepping/ making soup, making rice. If the nanny can drive - they may ask for pick up groceries or dog food close by. Someone that can prep and freeze baby food for their daughter when she turns 6 months also.

Light housekeeping - family laundry sweeping the floor, vacuum, cleaning/ disinfecting baby toys. They have a cleaner who comes every Friday to deep clean their home.

Dog walking and letting the dog out for bathroom breaks. There is an area downstairs of their townhouse complex where this can be done.

Both parents work outside the home but mom’s schedule is flexible and may work from home at times.

They have an 11-year-old pug who has a lot of energy when first meeting people and once he calms down, he likes to nap most of the day. They also have a 2.5-year-old rescue dog (Boston Terrier) who takes a bit to warm up so they would like someone with patience and a love for dogs.

Driving is required. They are willing to provide a vehicle if needed.

The family is vaccinated against COVID and they would appreciate it if Nanny is the same.
