Press Helper

Press Helper 1 (fly person) - $16.00 per hour

shift positions available (6 pm
- 6am) or (6 am
- 6 pm)

3-4 shifts per week

**Must comply with all the “worker health and safety responsibilities” and perform the following activities**:

- Gathering information from job docket and run sheets.
- Make up boxes and labeling
- Calculate total amount of bundles and rows needed
- Setup stacker to fit paper dimensions
- Flying bundles of paper from Stackers
- Stacking of bundles on skids or in boxes
- Placing skid tags on top of skid
- Moving skids with pump carts or lift boxes to shipping area
- Ensuring workspace and floors are clean and free of any trip hazards
- Upon completion of job, completing job paperwork and put in docket
- Assist Press Operator when requested

- Must be physically fit and able to work flexible shifts. Own transportation is necessary. WHIMIS, AODA,
- Basic Safety Awareness, Forklift Training, an asset. Must provide own safety boots. We supply hearing protection.
- On the job training provided
- Health and dental plan (after 3 months) and a pension plan (after 2 years).

**Education and Experience Required**:
Grade 12 or acceptable experience

On-the-job training required and/or related experience
- Must be physically fit and able to work flexible shifts. Own transportation is necessary. WHIMIS, AODA,_
