**Job Duties**:
**General**:

- Develop and implement strategies to maximize plant efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and minimize costs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess plant performance and take corrective actions as needed.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration among plant employees.

**Planning & Scheduling Focus**:

- Act as the owner of the Gantt-based multi-departmental scheduling system, providing live system oversight and key input.
- Coordinate with production supervisors to effectively allocate resources and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing customer demands or unforeseen issues.
- Utilize company-wide scheduling software or tools to automate and streamline the scheduling process.
- Develop and maintain production schedules, considering order priorities, resource availability, and machine capacities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to review customer orders, specifications, and delivery requirements.
- Create production plans based on customer demand, resource availability, and production capacity.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and supplies.
- Continuously monitor and analyze production data using our live machine monitoring software to identify potential bottlenecks or capacity constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any planning-related issues and optimize production processes.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in production scheduling or a similar role within a manufacturing or printing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software or tools, as well as other productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Knowledge of printing and packaging processes, equipment, and materials (preferred).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

- Proven experience in production management, preferably within a manufacturing or printing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams effectively, with a hands-on approach to shop floor operations.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and process optimization.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software or tools, as well as other productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
