CryptoTherm, a leading manufacturing company in the cooling and heat transfer sector, is seeking a skilled Shop Manager to join our dynamic team. The Shop Manager leads a team of Assembly Workers, ensuring efficient production, adherence to safety protocols, and timely project completion within budget constraints.

**Responsibilities / Duties**:
**Project planning**:

- Create or use a project plan.
- Reading blueprints, ensuring that designs and dimensions are followed.
- Visualizing the build processes from start to finish, prioritize and delegate tasks appropriately, estimate timelines for completion of different stages.
- Plan for timelines and when parts/supplies need to be ordered.
- Communication with suppliers as necessary to ensure projects succeed.

**Project Management**
- Analyze projects/units in their various stages of production, identifying next tasks to assign for following weeks while identifying deficiencies to fix.
- Keeping other employees on task and productive towards completion of priority projects, training for installation, ensuring quality of installation and that care is taken to not damage materials or components.
- Ensuring that orders requiring lead time are ordered by the correct date for timely arrival.
- Ensuring safe work practices and equipment operation procedures are followed.
- Identify problems early by way of understanding how one procedure affects the next.
- Propose and implement effective solutions for problems when they occur.
- Communicate necessary design revisions, and potential improvements.
- Hands on experience and competency in a broad variety of fabrication, manufacturing, and equipment operation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with teams of employees and with management
- General understanding of costs and ability to identify/mitigate waste
- Ability to identify correct fasteners/hardware for various installations
- Ensure all components are treated to protect from corrosion: all metal must be either galvanized or primed and painted
- Perform tests to verify important features
- Ability to perform safe rigging and crane operation
- Some knowledge of electrical tools, equipment, part names, and installations
- Document procedures to make future installations correct and easily repeatable.

**Skills / Requirements**:

- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Adaptability in a changing work environment.

**Education / Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years previous experience as a foreman or project lead/manager is required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in plant management or construction business ownership is considered an asset.
- Bitcoin knowledge and experience is not required but considered an asset.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
