**Electronics Testing Technician**

- **The Opportunity**:_Lotek is currently looking for a highly motivated Electronics Testing Technician capable of working in a team environment to join our Production Test group.
- **Requirements**:_
- Must have Electronics Engineering Technician/Technology diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with hands-on hardware building, testing and troubleshooting.
- Must have operational familiarity with electronic test equipment (Oscilloscope, power supplies, network analyzers, spectrum analyzer etc.).
- Surface mount soldering capability using a microscope is an asset.
- Strong communication skills, team player and results driven.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word and Excel.
- **Duties**:_
- Analyze and interprets test and calibration data.
- Set up standard test apparatus or devise test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production models.
- Recommend changes in circuitry, installation specifications and testing methodology to simplify assembly and test procedures to improve productivity and quality.
- Assembles experimental circuitry or complete prototype models.
- Design, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify special testing equipment/setup for testing of electronic components, parts, and systems.
- Participate in developing methods to automate manual testing procedures.
- Root cause analysis and trouble shooting of returned goods as part of returned goods services.
