Job Summary:
**Duties**:
- Prepare sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes according to recipes
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate orders
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
**Skills**:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or Makiman
- Knowledge of various sushi types and sushi-rolling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen setting
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
