**Position Summary**:
Reporting to IT Assistant Manager, the IT Specialist is responsible for delivering expert, efficient and cordial computing and server support to Mon Sheong includes installing, maintaining, upgrading, monitoring, administrating and troubleshooting network devices, computer equipment, server operating systems, user workstation operating systems, network user account management and IT asset management.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical assistance and support to the Mon Sheong Foundation, all Mon Sheong Long Term Care Centres;
- Provide technical support to end-users on various hardware and software issues;
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking;
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems;
- Provide technical assistance and training to end-users;
- Respond to help desk requests in a timely and professional manner;
- Document and maintain accurate records of technical support requests and resolutions;
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives as needed;
- Other duties may be assigned from time to time.

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 2+ years of experience in technical support;
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues;
- Experience or familiarity with a Long Term Care environment is an asset;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Self-motivated individual with an aptitude for learning and providing outstanding customer-service;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to interpret and converse with technical information;
- Demonstrated ability to work as member of a team and multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
- Bilingual in English and Chinese.
