**Major Activities**
- Provide analytical support during the annual budgeting process including liaising with departmental managers to prepare budget submissions, analyzing expenses, identifying cost-saving and value-enhancing initiatives, and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs);
- Work with the finance team to analyze financial statements as well as account detail to identify and explain budget variances on a monthly basis;
- Assist in weekly and monthly corporate reporting activities and forecasting;
- Participate in and lead projects resulting in process improvements and data integrity;
- Work very closely with production Manager and QA Manager on function ability and full business integration of ERP software;
- Assist in identification, prioritization and selection of potential projects in all areas of the business to optimize existing processes for improved efficiency and data integrity;
- Ensure the IT solution meets operations needs and productivity/ cost obligations prior to development;
- Coordinate improvement activities with other department managers and area supervisors;
- Develop data management systems to monitor, control and improve process;
- Any other tasks and projects as required.

**Job Requirements**
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with strong ability to summarize and present conclusions in a concise, conceptual manner;
- Ability to liaise with various functional departments and build effective relationships;
- Demonstrate initiative and the need to drive improvements and work with colleagues on a multitude of issues and processes;
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills;
- Attention to detail, completeness and accuracy to ensure data integrity;
- Process oriented with strong project/process improvement skills;
- Flexibility to work in a multi-system environment;
- Advanced Excel skills ( pivot tables, vlookups, macros, financial modeling)

**Qualifications**
- Post secondary education in related field is preferred;
- 3-5 years experience in manufacturing/service environment with 2-3 years specifically in reporting and forecasting is preferred;
- Demonstrated initiative, high motivation and independent problem solving skills with the ability to create and implement solutions;
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to engage others, provide guidance, leadership and facilitate problem solving at all levels;
- Demonstrated advanced skills in Microsoft Office software including analytical proficiency in advanced Excel and Powerpoint.
