At **SMS Equipment, **our **HRIS Analyst **is the functional administrator for assigned modules in the company HR and Occupational Health and Safety systems. The **HRIS Analyst **is responsible for providing provide first level user support, analytical reports as required, ensure compliance with procedures, and explore opportunities to enhance the overall user experience. This position is in **Acheson, AB.**
This position offers **hybrid **work arrangement. This is a **temporary position for a period of 12 months.**
The salary range for this position is **$60,000 - $75,000.**
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Ensure process and procedure compliance.
- Ensure data integrity through quality assurance and auditing.
- Explore opportunities to improve software utilization to streamline business processes.
- Monitor client community and vendor communications related to assigned modules to identify opportunities to enhance.
- Assist with testing of new releases and enhancements to assigned modules.
- Provide support to managers, supervisors, and employees to encourage the full utilization and optimization of assigned system modules.
- Provide first level support with troubleshooting and issue resolution for assigned modules.
- Assist with updating and creating documentation to assist HR, Managers, and employees with how to use the systems.
- Coordinate with colleagues to triage incoming inquires and requests to the department inbox.
- Develop and compile regular and periodical reports to track and monitor trends, verifying accuracy and consistency of data and processes.
- Produce ad hoc and scheduled reports.
**Qualifications**:
- Knowledge of human resources principles including record and reporting requirements, document management methodologies and procedures
- Advanced Microsoft suite experience to support report generation, collaboration, and document preparation.
- Strong analytical acumen in statistics and evaluation of data.
- Experience working with payroll and other sensitive data, complying with policy and legislation requirements pertaining to privacy, confidentiality, and data security.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner are required.
- Must possess strong problem solving, organizational skills, time management and the ability to multitask.
