The Quality Inspector is responsible for direct examination of product to ensure that quality standards and procedures are met and aligned with customer specifications. Requiring a high level of attention to detail, the Quality Inspector is responsible for strictly adhering to the organization's quality assurance policies and identifying defects and or production errors in order to prevent these materials from entering the supply chain. Other duties may be assigned as necessary

**Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:

- Final inspection of finished products using various types of inspection equipment;
- Make judgment calls on quality of parts
- Read and interpret documentation, including drawings and operating procedures
- Create inspection reports, maintain and file documentation.
- Demonstrate good workmanship and practices.
- Visual inspection of QA issues form previous shift, as required
- Communicate effectively with internal team members (i.e. peers, production leadership, and engineering) as well as customer representatives
- Understand and adhere to quality requirements and productivity expectations.
- Work in a safe manner, complying with all health, safety and environmental guidelines/regulations
- Maintain the general organization and cleanliness of your work station and department
- Other tasks as assigned

**Skills, Competencies, Experience**
- High School diploma or equivalent desired
- Must have reliable transportation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multitask
- Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced challenging environment
- Ability to take initiative and recognize needs
- Preferred 1-2-year previous experience is an asset
- Ability to speak, read and interpret documents in the English language
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.50-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
