Job Description

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that product picked by a warehouse associate is correct prior to shipment. As the Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring the quality of our products and helping maintain the product quality standards. The role encompasses many different functions, which all help to support the quality standards set out by the company.
Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
Health and Safety
- Comply with all Crossroads C&I and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) requirements.

Product Quality
- Enforce Quality Control Standards through visual, dimensional measurement, and functional inspection
- Ensure daily product checks are being performed for orders/shipments
- Communicate quality issues to department lead hands and management
- Participate in the review of product quality issues or investigations
- Reject any non-conforming products; ie. materials failing to meet specifications
- Review and advise on new product quality standards and other opportunities for improvement.

Physical Responsibilities
- Forklift Operation
- Ability to lift-up to 50 LBS
- Coordinate with Shipping Office to ensure priorities are met.

ISO Responsibilities
- When required Assist in warehouse NCR investigations; provide input and possible corrective actions.
- Maintain NCR areas to ensure material in locations is actioned in a timely manner.
- Attendance to monthly NCR meetings and discuss any quality issues that may exist
- Follow up on corrective and preventative actions that result from quality issues
