Log Loader

Chu Cho Industries LP. (CCI) is a resource and heavy construction company that works primarily within the forestry, mining, and transportation industries within the Mackenzie FSA. We operate two industrial properties in Mackenzie, BC which include an 1800 sq. ft. shop on a 5-acre lot and a modern 10,000 sq. ft. shop and office complex on a 10-acre lot. Administration, Accounting, and Management for CCI is based in Prince George BC, with opportunities to work in Mackenzie.

Chu Cho Industries is currently looking for a log loader to work in the Mackenzie Forest District on a 2 week on / 1 week off schedule. Camp accommodations are provided.

**Qualifications**:

- Comfortable with Remote Camp work shifts based on 12-hour days -Shift depending on the contract location
- Experience in heavy industry preferably logging
- Skilled log loader operator
- Punctual, committed to being on time for every shift
- Can safely and skillfully operate equipment
- Can follow instruction and work well with other employees, displays a “team player” attitude
- Must have a desire to show up for work consistently
- Must have a min Class 5 drivers license
- Able to work comfortably and maintain high levels of performance during 12-hour shift

**Skills**:

- Able to follow company policies and procedures
- Able to perform Pre-Trip inspections on equipment and report deficiencies
- Knowledge of maneuvering equipment on various terrain
- Knowledge of Safety standards while operating on steep slopes

Pay: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 80 per week

- 12 hour shift
- Overtime

- Log Loading: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Drivers License (preferred)
