At Sinai Health, we care, create possibilities and offer hope. We are looking for an experienced Sonographer to support our Special Pregnancy Program Department at our Mount Sinai Hospital Campus.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform neonatal/fetal ultrasound imaging procedures.
- Operate, troubleshoot and ensure ultrasound, medical imaging and ancillary equipment are performing in an effective and efficient manner.
- Prepare written and electronic reports required to document all procedures and test results.
- Participate in teaching, educational, research, and safety and quality improvement programs/activities.
- Perform other related patient care responsibilities to facilitate the provision of optimal patient care.
- Perform cross-functional/site responsibilities as assigned as per departmental needs.
- All duties as assigned.
- Job Requirements- Registered with Sonography Canada - formerly Canadian Association for Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals.
- CARDUP/Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS).
- Registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) preferred.
- Registered with College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Required disciplines/credentials must include Abdomen (AB) and Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB).
- Active enrolment or completion of a recognized post diploma Ultrasound program, or recognized equivalent.
- Completion of a BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification.
- 1 year recent related experience is required.
- Demonstrated maintenance of CME credits required.
- Experience in the following modalities: vascular, neurosonography and fetal assessment or demonstrated willingness to learn.
- Maintain clinical skills in various modalities required by position.
- Fulfill certification requirements and maintain credentials as required by the department i.e. Nuchal Translucency.
- Demonstrated ability to train in a variety of ultrasound related examinations, procedures, equipment.
- Proficient use of Astraia Electronic Medical Record preferred.
- Previous experience working in a fast past clinic environment preferred.
- Experience orientating/teaching new staff members.
- Positive approach to teamwork.
- Excellent problem recognition and problem solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to organize work and set priorities.
- Excellent hand eye coordination.
- Effective body language and people management skills with the ability to demonstrate sensitivity when dealing with intimate patient contact situations.
- Ability to work accurately under stressful conditions.
- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history.
