JOB OVERVIEW
Responsible for Supporting Production and all aspects of APQP.Work with Customer Liaisons to eliminate any quality concerns found at the customer, which may be associated with Windsor Modules. Work towards continuous improvements of all products/processes developed and produced at Windsor Modules.
FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of a post secondary education program
- ASQ certification as a quality engineer (CQE) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years related manufacturing / quality experience in a high speed assembly manufacturing environment
- Tier I automotive experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
- CMM Programming experience preferred

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Approve Supplier PPAPs
- Complete all APQP activities
- Lead problem solving for applicable customer quality concerns (customer specific reports: 8D, 7 Step, 5 Phase, Is/Is Not, 6 Panel, etc.)
- Participate in Warranty reviews and analysis at QEC
- Manage all sorting activity both at the Customer and Internally.Coordinate sorting activities with Suppliers.
- Work with Engineering to update supplier drawings
- Prepare and complete component Receiving Inspection Matrix and Instructions
- Assist in Preparation and approval of Assembly Work Instructions
- PPAP to customer through CQMS.
- Develop, implement and supervise launch containment system
- Participate in PFMEA review and team sign off
- Resolve internal quality concerns in order to reduce IPPM.
- Facilitate supplier deviation requests SRCD's and communicate status to supply base
- Participate in Campaign Prevention reviews
- Perform internal process audits.
- Set up and perform Mistake Proofing
- Manage internal scrap
- Prepare QOS charts
- Create quality alerts, deviations, and supplier charge backs.
- Supportpilot builds; Maintain receiving inspection hot list
- Manage the Quality Cage; Supervise Quality Technicians
- Support the 2nd or 3rd shifts if necessary
- Calibration; CMM Measurements
- Capability Studies, Gauge R&R
- Support Liaisons at customer when necessary
- Support PFMEA reviews
- Layer Process Audits
- Participate in CFT meetings
- Conduct PER StudiesOther:

- Provides guidance/mentorship for receiving inspectors
- Train members of Advanced Operations team in specific quality disciplines as required
- Performs all duties in accordance IATF16949 and ISO 14001
- Safe work practices, and compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.Make recommendations for improvement to the safety program where applicable.

- Customer PPM
- Customer Liaison Incidents
- Execute all programs/projects within the established budget
- PPAP on time to program commitment date(s)
- Plant achieving IATF16949
- Zero supplier responsible launch concerns (New Model Launch)
- Ensure timely communication to all departments involved
- Adherence to all Windsor Modules policies and guidelines
