Tractor Operator

**Job Duties**:
- Must be prepared to work in extreme cold weather conditions
- Maintain intimate knowledge of scope of work at assigned list of sites, and remain personally committed to adequate performance of the work at all times
- Operate pickup truck mounted w. snow plow and spreader to remove ice and snow from private properties. This requires early morning or late night starts, extended hours, and week-end duty including holidays
- Understanding usage of FrontEnd Loaders and front mounted tractors with plows
- Perform routine equipment maintenance/repair tasks such as changing vehicle fluids, fueling, greasing, painting, etc.
- Comply with all safety precautions, operational procedures, directions, rules, policies, and regulations
- The use of LMN and following company procedures with LMN, including photos and notes of all sites serviced and patrolled
- Understanding of where to pile snow to ensure runoff has proper drainage
- Must be available 24/7 during winter months. (Nov 15 to April 15)
- At the end of each shift, missing tools, broken equipment/tools, and safety concerns must be logged and reported. Pre-trips must be handed in at the end of each shift
**Working Conditions**:
- Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading equipment.
- Frequent use of foot/feet to operate foot pedal/s on equipment and trucks.
- Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Working in extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes.
- A G class driver license in good standing
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
**Salary**: $16.42-$28.88 per hour
