Agronomist Intern

**Location**: Kemptville, Ontario
**Salary**: $22.50 per hour, salaried across the entire pay period
**Hours**: Full-time, must be available during September 1 - October 10, 2024, for harvesting
**Contract Duration**: June 1, 2024, to October 30, 2024
**Age Requirement**: Must be aged 18-30 due to restrictions in funding

**About Cannabis Orchards Inc.**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work under the supervision of the Director of Farming Operations.
- Assist in the transplanting of plants into the field.
- Perform general field maintenance, including watering, grass cutting, and weed removal.
- Note phenotypic traits of experimental hemp lines.
- Assist with the harvesting, destemming, and drying of hemp.
- Package finished crops.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous farming or cultivation experience is an asset but not required.
