**Job Description**:
**About the role**:
**Specific Responsibilities will include**:

- Work within a world-wide reserving team responsible for the updating, booking and reconciliation of quarterly reserve analysis indications for P&C Americas which includes the US, Canada and Latin America.
- Support annual Deep Dive assumption-setting reviews of P&C Americas sub-portfolios
- Work with the Canadian Appointed Actuary to fulfil Canadian regulatory responsibilities such as the creation of the year-end Appointed Actuary and Future Condition Test reports under IFRS 17.
- Support Finance in the development of Canadian Branch P&C-2 filings and financial statement disclosures under IFRS 17.
- Provide summary reports and management information.
- Help prepare quarterly presentations to executive underwriting management and business unit leadership.
- Engage with underwriting, pricing and claims teams to enhance the reserving feedback loop.
- Assist with data management of company’s world-wide reserving platform.
- Maintain appropriate process documentation.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**:

- Person should have completed at least 5 actuarial exams although Associate to new Fellow members of the Casualty Actuarial Society are preferred.
- 3 to 8 years working experience in non-life reserving or pricing in the reinsurance field, or related actuarial experience.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Appointed Actuary statutory & IFRS 17 requirements with experience supporting the Appointed Actuary in the development of year-end Appointed Actuary and Financial Condition Test reports.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency English.
- High motivativation, team-orientation and adaptability.
- Strong IT and data management skills.
- Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty lines of business
- Strong ability to work remotely with team members and across departments across multiple time zones.

Additional Information

PartnerRe offers its staff a hybrid work environment. You will be required to work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Monday & Friday are remote work days.
