As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all logistics-related activities, ensuring successful event execution and client satisfaction. You will work closely with the Logistics team, Sales Team, suppliers, vendors, and venue personnel to guarantee smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.

**Logistics Planning**:

- Collaborate with the Sales team to understand the floor plans and requirements for each event.
- Develop comprehensive logistics plans, including delivery schedules, installation timelines, and pickup arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with venue regulations, safety guidelines, and event-specific requirements.
- Responsible for fleet management, ensuring all vehicles are safely operated and maintained with the support of maintenance vendors and the leasing company.

**Scheduling and Resource Management**:

- Create and maintain a master schedule for all furniture logistics operations, including delivery, setup, and removal tasks.
- Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring adequate staffing levels for each event based on its scale and complexity.
- Collaborate with the HR department to recruit and onboard additional staff during peak event seasons.
- Monitor and optimize staff schedules to minimize overtime costs while ensuring coverage for events as required.

**Supervising and Performance Management**:

- Lead and supervise the logistics team, setting clear expectations and objectives for each staff member.
- Address any performance issues promptly and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Motivate and inspire the team to work cohesively, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

**Transportation and Delivery**:

- Coordinate transportation logistics for furniture delivery and pickup, optimizing routes for efficiency using rental dispatch software and unique local knowledge.
- Manage a team of delivery personnel and ensure they follow safety protocols during transportation and setup.
- Collaborate, engage with, and guide delivery personnel from party rental division for furniture delivery and pickup during peak volume periods, ensuring that furniture delivery standards are maintained for the end customer.
- Verify the quality and condition of furniture and accessories before dispatch.

**On-Site Setup and Removal**:

- Supervise the setup and installation of furniture at event venues, ensuring precise placement and attractive presentation.
- Oversee the dismantling and removal of furniture post-event, ensuring timely and damage-free collection.

**Budgeting and Cost Control**:

- Assist in budget planning for furniture logistics, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality.
- Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report budgetary performance to management.

**Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving**:

- Proactively address any logístical challenges or unexpected issues during events.
- Implement contingency plans to handle emergencies and ensure smooth event operations.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- 5 Years experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role,
- A strong background in event logistics or furniture installation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Proficient in using logistics management software and tools.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality service to clients.
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or irregular hours, as events demand.

**Salary**: From $80,000.00 per year
