Visual arts: Ceramics - In studio & after school programs

Part Time: 2-10 hours a week | Rate: Starting at $25.00/hr

Rise Arts Company is looking for ceramics instructors to lead and deliver beginner ceramics programs in studio and after school programs across the Tri-cities and/or Surrey. Applicants must be comfortable working with ages 5-12 years old. Must be available for a minimum of 1 shift per week between Monday to Friday during after school hours 2:15pm - 4:30pm.

Qualifications:

- Have a joy and passion working with children ages 5-12 years old
- Must have experience lesson planning and leading a range of activities to children and/or youth
- Must be comfortable leading programs to groups up to 18 participants
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate with managers, co-workers, site staff, parents & children
- Must be highly reliable, punctual and responsible
- Have the ability to create a safe and welcoming space for children and youth to explore their love for creativity

Certifications/Licenses:

- Current first-aid certificate.
- Drivers license.
- Must complete a Police Information Check.
