**Job Title**:Lawn Maintenance Foreperson

**Location**:Hamilton, Ontario

**Pay**: $25-30 per hour (Benefits after 3 months)

**JOB DUTIES**:
Lawn Maintenance Foreperson related to the landscape gardening industry. The position of Lawn Maintenance Foreperson will involve assisting in the daily management of maintenance projects for Oakridge Landscape Contractors. This position also includes the use of numerous types of related equipment.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Represent Oakridge Landscape Contractors to our clients in a positive and professional manner
- Manage labour force, equipment usage, materials and sub trades on the projects using Field Time
- Maintain strong communication with your supervisor and contact your supervisor if any issues arise.
- Ensure that all sites are clean and neat prior to leaving at the end of the workday.
- Ensuring the proper technique to tarp material in box (i.e. mulch, grass clippings, leaves, branches etc)
- Ensure that crew leaves and arrives on site in a prompt manner.
- Make sure that you have all the necessary equipment on site each day to complete the work.
- Remove grass clippings from hard surfaces as well as planting areas every site visit.
- Remove weeds from planting areas, pots, driveways, parking areas etc every site visit.
- Complete daily circle check on vehicle according to MTO requires and continue to monitor throughout the day.
- Ensure that quality workmanship is evident and project maintains consistent high standards of quality

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Valid Driver’s License “G” is required
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Minimum of 5 years field experience and 3 years crew management
- Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits
- Willingness to take appropriate classes in order to upgrade the knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work long hours and the occasional Saturday
- Tolerance to various weather conditions
