Our bakery team is the heart of our company and plays an important role in keeping North America’s food supply going.
We are looking for an experienced Robotics Technician to join our maintenance team. Those interested in this position should have experience in troubleshooting and repairing equipment with Automation, PLC, and/or Robotics education.

Shift Details:

- Bi-Weekly Rotations, 12 Hour Continental Shifts
- Week 1: Work Monday/Tuesday, Off Wednesday/Thursday, Work Friday/Saturday/Sunday
- Week 2: Off Monday/Tuesday, Work Wednesday/Thursday, Off Friday/Saturday/Sunday
- 2 Weeks Nights 6PM - 6AM, 2 Weeks Days 6AM - 6PM

Pay Rate: $43.26 per hour to start + shift premium (extra $2.00/hr night shift premium)

Job Duties:

- Primary responsibilities include providing technical support to operations; including troubleshooting, parts identification and repair of equipment
- Responsible for operational performance - measured through efficiency percentages
- Act as a liaison for OEM support for advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Participate in continuous improvement activities including root cause analysis and efficiency improvement initiatives
- Perform routine corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance as needed on automation equipment
- Lead training for operators and other technicians on function and operation of equipment
- Developing operating standards and documentation
- Provide input on stock levels of spare parts as it relates to equipment
- Read and interpret schematic diagrams
- Aptitude with mechanical and electrical systems
- Periodic shift changes required for training, vacation coverage and special projects

Job Requirements:

- Diploma in relevant field (Automation, PLC, Robotics, etc.) or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of industrial experience in the food industry, preferably with SIG and Siemens experience
- Experience in troubleshooting, equipment repair, and hardware and software support of robotic and/or automation system
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley systems
- Problem solving skills and good communication skills are required
- Flexibility to 12 hour rotational shifts as well as on weekends and holidays
